Burndy has reintroduced the PAT750XT-18V. It is an upgrade from the existing PAT750-18V. It contains a new head design which incorporates an external track, hence the “XT”, which keeps the advancing ram on track and avoids any misaligned crimps or sticking issues. For 4/0 Copper splices you can obtain 120 crimps before you need to recharge the battery. The battery charges in 45 minutes or less and is an 18 volt NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) battery which will not build up memory issues.

Catalog Number PATMD6-14V
The PATMD6-14V was introduced this winter and the sales have been incredible. This tool will go head to head with the Fairmont EK426 and the Huskie EZ BG inline tools. It contains a 14.4 volt NiMH battery. All of the Makita chargers will charge a full range of battery levels keeping things simple for the customer. We also offer a DC charger option incase the customer wants to place the charger in the cab of their trucks. The PATMD6 comes in different head configurations as outlined in the spec. For 4/0 copper splices it will make 350 crimps before you have to recharge the battery. The crimp time is approximately 5 seconds.
